My name is Johny Brooklyn, founder of the Recovery Alliance Group. After years of experience with rehabs, twelve-step programs, outpatient treatment, and sober living, I came to a difficult conclusion: for many people, the current addiction treatment system is not producing lasting results.
Too often, individuals complete treatment, attend meetings, follow every recommendation, and still relapse—only to be sent back through the same process. If the same approach continues to fail, we should be willing to question the approach itself.
The Recovery Alliance Group believes addiction is not a one-size-fits-all problem. Recovery should be individualized, evidence-based, and focused on education, personal responsibility, life skills, behavioral change, and long-term growth. We support approaches such as CBT, REBT, SMART Recovery, trauma-informed care, and other science-based methods.
Our mission is not simply to criticize the current system but to build something better. We believe recovery should help people develop independence, improve their lives, strengthen relationships, pursue meaningful goals, and create a future worth protecting. We believe lasting recovery is possible, and that the future of addiction treatment should be built on evidence, innovation, personal responsibility, and hope.
Thank You for Your Support
The Alliance was founded on a simple belief: people struggling with substance abuse deserve recovery solutions that help them build meaningful, independent, and productive lives.
We believe recovery should be about more than abstinence. It should help individuals build confidence, develop life skills, strengthen relationships, improve emotional well-being, and create a future worth protecting. Our mission is to advance evidence-based recovery programs focused on personal growth, education, behavioral change, and long-term success. Through mentorship, life-skills training, wellness initiatives, and individualized support, we help people move beyond addiction toward lasting independence.
Your support makes this work possible. Every donation helps us expand programs, provide resources, and create new opportunities for individuals seeking a better path forward.
